What happened in the meantime @Kasaman?
Hadn’t Kenya Kwishans predicted an exchange rate of Ksh 115? Why is it Ksh 147?

What happened is that KK waligula, wagagula na wagagula zaidi. Add the ineptitude, capital flight to Tanzania and Rwanda, huge tax hikes and the inability to stimulate economic activities to boost the economy.
Add to that unnecessary and wanton spending on refurbishment and expansion of State Houses, DP residences and CSs Offices.
If it were global factors as you allude, all countries including the US itself would have experienced it. Or were the global factors so prejudiced that they picked on us only?

I have a wide porfolio. I recently crossed 20M in digital asset value juu ya RUNE. Can't complain.
On the dollar, the real hard target should be June. We need to raise 500-600m dollars to clear the Eurobond. I think we do that easily. The Fed indicated that it might hold interest rates until after the US election though, so maybe you have some hope in the short term to reduce your losses.
