Mkubwa, we have seen even the appointment of judges and Auditor general the president doesnt have a big say but so far, he has refused to appoint the relevant persons because he doesn't like the names he was given. We know it because it is public. What about this one which is the most secretive organ? With Kenyatta, anything, anything can just be done with total disregard of the procedure

CGS Daudi Tonje rules put in place predictability and he brought order in the promotions' process in senior ranks of the armed forces. He will always be remembered for his great foresight and leadership.

It doesn't really matter to me who ends up as CDF or VCDF or commanders of the Army , Air force and Navy armed forces. As an ordinary Kenyan, I have no say or control in influencing these decisions.

All I know is that between 3-5 years before an incumbent CDF retires, whoever ends up in these positions wamepangwa mapeeema using Tonje rules.
If Prezo of the day and the system doesn't want you, you will never make it in the group "in front of the line" to be eligible to be picked. Of course all legal using Tonje rules !
