I remember my highschool teacher of biology akitwambia kwamba Lamarckian Inheritance was absolutely wrong. These studies challenge that, but don't prove it correct, only that a very specific aspect of it is, but I wish he hadn't given me the impression that scientific knowledge is absolute and not predisposed to change. I understand he might have been simplifying things for our level of understanding and adhering to the limitations of the curriculum, lakini it delayed my acceptance of paradigm shifts in science and especially biology. They also told us to not become overly dependent on calculators because we wouldn't be walking around with one...... my phone has AI that can perform almost all highschool mathematics for me.

Yep, this makes me wonder how the 'nurture' of Kenya’s turbulent political history has become 'nature.' Has the persistent stress of living through IDP crises and economic instability created a transgenerational epigenetic effect that influences both the mental health baseline and the general cognitive resilience of the average citizen today?
