I believe President Kenyatta could have done better and should be criticized where necessary. He should not have allowed the conflict of interest issues as demonstrated by MOH shenanigans with his relatives. That said, his former friends from the Rift Valley are actively playing the ethnic card, very negatively. What we are witnessing today is the revival of Them vs Us narrative that was used to kill and evict us from Enosupukia, Likia, Burnt Forest and Kuambaa. It wont work well for Ruto sympathizers. It won't work well for his detractors. It wont work well for this nation. Ruto presidency or its absence should not return us to those dark days. Hakuna deni.
