I always insist; mau mau was a Kikuyu on kikuyu affair. Kikuyu's commitment much more atrocities against fellow kikuyus than on omusungu. Same way mungiki killed many of their own only to be killed in turn by fellow Kikuyu's(Zebedayo Maina).
