A Nairobi court has detained Blogger Isaac Kibet Yego for two days for publishing a social media post alleging that Interior CS Fred Matiang’i had tested positive for COVID-19.
Kibet was arrested on Saturday at Ngeria area in Uasin Gishu County.

If only they were good at sending messages to CS/PS/governors who have killed, robbed public coffers, MPs who have shot the innocent, diverted public funds to personal use.
But no, they are good in dealing with poor bloggers, shoes and chicken thieves, as a message to others.

It's all about courtroom psychology, you can't be granted what you wish in court, by requesting for few days means you're ready to proceed with the case, more days for miscellaneous charges you will be given less days to make you hasten your investigation. Most miscellaneous applications are usually withdrawn by the applicant.

It does not do to make bold statements then offer such a feeble answer.

Furthermore you do not seem to know the challenges involved in the compilation of a murder file nor do you wish to, so it's better to let the DCI handle their operations rather than flail wildly in the dark.

Please do tell what is complicated to about compiling a murder file for a murder done by a rich politician eg obado compared to a murder committed by a poor person since those done by the poor seems to have no issues getting conviction. Yes there are issues at judiciary but there are also issues if deliberate evedence tampering or weak evidence provision by a compromised investigation
