The Wrights brothers did not take to the sky on waxen wings like Icarus and Daedalus. Why? Because from the legend they knew the wax wouldn't hold. How manay times have Kenyans seen flooded seasonal streams sweep away people. What did we learn from the doomed's unfortunate experiences?

You are not getting it.
For him, there was nothing new he would have achieved if he managed to cross over. People have always crossed rivers.

So we can safely say his risk was simple misapplication of judgement. Or search for street creds

Kindly tell me why NASA keeps sending folks onto space despite so many catastrophes which claimed lives.
Why do we travel on cars and buses despite all the accidents?
Every activity, sleep included, involves a degree of risk.

In any case despite all care and caution that we employ, death is inevitable.

The benefit far outweighs the risk.
And the risk is also minimal.
NASA has done thousands of trips to space, with a few catastrophes. We travel in buses and planes every day,with few catastrophes. So the risk is a bit low compared to a fellow who is trying to do what has a 99.9999% chance of turning catastrophic. And worse still, for nothing.

There is lots of potential in what he was attempting:
He could have shown and taught a new way of nduthi riding.
He could have started a new Olympic sport of raging rivers crossing.
He could have adequately demonstrated that there was no urgent need of a bridge there because nduthi can suffice.
The possibilities are endless. Let’s give credit where it is due @Aviator.

Just chill, you will actually hear the waters as they make their way down you can even ask for a boat.

Then once kumefurika just get into your boat and start singing

Row row your boat...... Gently down the stream...

The possibilities of alot of things will be endless.

A woman is like wildlife ,you can't find a female mating with a weakling the stupid Males will fight to death just to mate ! Today most married women are 'raped' by their husbands ! Ana if the husband can't, due to physical challenges, the opt for 150 early at 7am before reporting for job .very common is Nairobi and other urban areas !
