SUBJECT: SHOOTING INCIDENT REPORT: Ref Ob no.xx/11/02/2022 at 1910hrs . It was reported by the Manager Villa Park Bar and restuarant that on 11/2/2022 at a round 1800hrs one person dressed in police attire and armed with an Ak 47 riffle entered the bar, corked the riffle and went to where a lady and two men were seated, the two men grabbed the riffle and tried to snatch it from him and one shot fired from the riffle. Stapol Garissa, Duty Officer and Anti-Crime Personnel rushed to the scene and established that No. Pc Brian Kabaka had earlier had a querral with his girlfriend at the said Bar, left and came back while armed, fired one shot which hit the ground and richochet and hit the counter. No injuries reported, officer disarmed and firearm and one spent catriage kept as exhibit.

Dennis Kinoti a police officer in Busia is said to have deliberately dropped the Occurrence Book (OB) in a pit latrine so as to destroy evidence against him of assaulting a female colleague identified as Tabitha Keiyo, a case that was booked under OB 5/11/2/2022.

Disciplinary action has been taken against a police officer Dennis Kinoti after the officer on duty observed that the OB was missing from the report and enquiry office and thus enquired from the one who had held the desk.

The officers mounted a search and discovered it in a pit latrine within the police station.

The OB was retrieved and is now being held for use as an exhibit.

According to online self defense gurus and keyboard warriors, you always charge a gunman but if the person has a knife you run away. The theory is that a gun is a ranged weapon and closing the distance makes it less effective (LOL) while a knife is most effective at close quarters. There is even a guy on Tiktok who has become famous overnight for these antics.
