Have you checked the daily mortality across India? Why do you think that 3,000 people dead per day is insignificant? How can you even say that 3,000 out of a billion is insignificant?

I bet covid-19 deaths cease to be statistics once you burry a victim.

As I never tire to remind those so inclined, statistics have a way of lulling us to a false sense of security.

We forget that even if the fatality was 0.01%, those still are people. Loved ones. Breadwinners. Relatives. Human beings!!

Can you please explain your point on the private sector more clearly? Haven't people here been complaining about kemsa and money disbursed to county govts for bed capacity. How does the private sector relate to this?

Can we compare death rates of the past few years until now. If we leave out the covid equation, how does it look? Can shed more light into the situation
