Il try and make it short because I'm sure a number of you are already in the know. But for those who dont know, CVs nowadays not read by a human being. They are read by an applicant tracking system (ATS). The unfortunate part is that you may be an A+ candidate and when a human being reads your CV he can pick that out. But the ATS may not pick you as an A+ candidate.

Let me give an example, a company is looking for an accountant who is a certified public accountant. You write in your CV that you are CPA K which is wonderful. Unfortunately the ATS sometimes may not know what CPA is. But it will know when you write in full i.e. Certified Public Accountant.

The ATS is also programmed to pick out key words and score candidates. You may have a 5 page CV but someone with a one page CV scores highler than you. This is because his/her CV has the key words. That's why whenever you apply for a job ensure you work on your CV thoroughly and not just send your standard CV.

Finally in the era we live in it's very useful to have presence in LinkedIn. Alot of dollars from private equity ventures flow into Kenya and these foreigners go to the internet to mine suitable local candidates who may join them.

But a funding option would be to enter into a joint venture. Your equity is land the other person's equity is funds.

Watu wengi huogopa the length of bank payment and still they demand either you first pay 20-30% of the total construction, maybe which you don't have. @RANDY $ what happens when the houses don't have tenants and loan repayment is due?

You can try and plead your case but banks are out to make crazy margins chances of you getting screwed are very high. I have sn guys pricing thier units below market rate to attaract tenants which usually works but later on they increase the rent after the dust has settled...... unless it's a huge project that requires over 50m its prudent to avoid borrowing from banks you are better off borrowing from saccos they are very flexible.
