What if during or after this corona Pandemic, it is credibly established that China created the virus.

And countries start going after China for reparations etc.

Are there laid down international policies to govern such punishments.
Like after all this a certain clause of the policy will be invoked.

I don’t know. Some have suggested the anti bioterrorism treaty. But it can be like being pressured to ease loan term in light of what they have done to economies. I mean can you imagine them trying to enforce loan payments now? Also, I am seeing a lot of realignment going forth. I see a more consolidated west I.e Mainstream Europe and the USA vs China Russia etc. Europe was starting to loosen the grip eg Britain going against USA for China 5g but I do not see this happening anymore.

Even some Asian countries eg Japan have already started enticing their manufacturing to get out of China.

penalties may not necessarily be via a formal courtroom process

If any of the G7 countries want to go after China, they can find a legal loop hole to do it. BUT they won"t and can't at the moment. The global supply chain of most commodities is still tied to Chinese manufacturing base ( cheap labour). Not to forget, China is a huge consumer market for things produced elsewhere. No one ones wants to start a trade war or God forbid a military war with Chia. The repercussions are too un-predictable and stock markets & investors worldwide fear unpredictability more than corona.

russia will be a bystander considering corona has started shooting there also, if it's proven Chinese created this thing they'll be on their own. most likely China will have north Korea as the only ally
