The clouds that brought the heavy rainfall to nairobi and environs zilitupita na umeme literally, as in we could see lightening huko down just flashing like a movie, it got all cloudy and dark like in the lord of the rings, i felt gollum was nearby. We actually lost our trail and almost climbed down the wrong path down to a dead valley from whence we would have had no option but to start a new life and forget about all the sleigh qweens in nairobi.

At that point it started raining hailstones (no water) at us, mangoto za barafu tulizipokea kweli kweli lol.
Anyway, it was a freaking hard trail, but it was conquered, infact we had to relegate this trek to a fact finding mission, in preparation to summit the mountain in Dec. Keep it locked!
