The stark reality of this is when I visited a family friend of mine. Regular TV was never on. It was strictly CocoMelon and YouTube being played on the smart TV, followed by Nintendo Wii and social media.

I watched these prepubescents do an online challenge while video chatting with their school friends.

This is why I say, its impossible to compare ourselves to this truly digital generation.
