THAT TODAY 7/11/2021 AT AROUND 1800HRS HE RECEIVED A REPORT FROM ONE OF THE WATCHMEN NAMELY PETER WANGUNGU THAT THERE WAS UNSUAL MOVEMENT FROM ONE OF THE DORMITORY NAMELY WAMBOGO DORM. HE IMMEDIATELY RUSHED TO THE SAID DORM AND AFTER BEING OPENED TWO STUDENTS WERE FOUND INSIDE WHO WERE UNABLE TO GIVE ANY REASON AS TO WHY THEY REMAINED INSIDE THE DORM YET OTHER STUDENTS WERE IN CLASS GOING ON WITH THEIR PREPS. UPON BEING SEARCHED THE THREE STUDENTS WERE FOUND WITH ONE AND HALF LITTERS OF KEROSINE, HALF LITTER OF TURPTINE AND AMATCH BOX. (.)POLICE OFFICERS RUSHED TO THE SCENE AND ESTABLISHED THAT THREE STUDENTS NAMELY JEREMY NYARINGOTI , EUGENE BETHUEL NJAGI, BOTH FORM THREE STUDENTS AND A FORM FOUR STUDENT NAMELY SAMUEL KING'ORI HAD PREPARED TO BURN THE DORMITORY (.) THE THREE STUDENTS WERE ARRESTED AND PLACED IN CUSTODY TO BE ARRAIGNED IN COURT TOMORROW 08/11/2021FOR VARIOUS OFFENCES.THE SCENE WAS VISTED BY D/ OCS KIGANJO, D/OCPD MR. OKOUT, DCIO MR. GACHERU. CASE PBC. AT AROUND 2345HRS STUDENTS WHO HAD RETIRED TO SLEEP DECIDED TO BREAK THE WINDOW PANES OF ONE DORMETORY NAMELY KAMUNGE. ESTIMATED COST OF DAMAGE IS YET TO BE ESTABLISHED.

such a case should demand the most dramatic response the school can have.

If I were the principle, while in the company of armed police, would reshuffle the sleeping arrangements in that school. Kila mtu to park what belongs to them, go to the field and reshuffle the whole dorm thing. Watu hukuwa wakora wakizoeana

shida ni impunity displayed, nipping in the bud also involves punishing adults when they do similar acts. otherwise, a young boy/girl who saw his father sharpen a panga or arrows in 2007 to go and kick out their neighbours and nothing was done to him will grow up knowing violence is the solution without fear of repercussions.

Yes, but it doesn't mean that they should not face consequences of their actions because other adults did not. These young are the future, all should be done to show them the correct path.

Ask yourself, weren't all hardened thugs once impressionable young kids?

... Closing day, midterm, going for school fees, whichever comes first, I was expected to be at home within a reasonable time frame.

Same to my schoolmates who came from very far.... Lakniii siku hizi?
