Sudi - Buzeki Fight Breaks Out at Funeral [VIDEO]

  • A fight between Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and businessman Zedekiah Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki broke out at a funeral on Friday, October 9, 2020.
    Tensions started building as Buzeki was giving his speech when Sudi started gesturing that he was taking too much time.


    "Allow me to finish. I have listened to you attack me many times so calm down," the Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial aspirant stated.

    Buzeki praised the local MP Swarup Mishra for his development record and compared him to Sudi, whom he said had done little for his constituents.
    As the tension escalated, Buzeki gestured to Sudi, daring him to approach and a fight broke out.
    The two have been engaging in an exchange of words as the businessman accused Sudi of inciting residents.


    Buzeki has promised to give Deputy President William Ruto and his allies a run for their money in 2022.
    "They should prepare for a tough battle in Kapsaret because we (Chama Cha Mashinani) are going to have candidates vying for all seats," he told the media earlier in the week.
    Buzeki fell out with Ruto and joined the Isaac Rutto-led CCM in May 2019.


    The billionaire had helped finance Ruto's campaign in the run up to the 2017 General Election.
    He has been quietly building up grassroots networks through various community-based initiatives in Uasin Gishu.



    Buzeki contested for the Jubilee Party ticket for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat but was defeated by incumbent Governor Jackson Mandago.
    He has made little secret of his intention to take another stab at the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial race in 2022.

Buzeki wanted this to happen. He was very aggressive with the mic and all along the crowd kept its cool. Alipotaja Mishra, he was intentionally riling up the crowd, but wakavumilia. Finally akaguzia story ya cement ya church which has brought a lot of issues hapo and the crowd couldn't take it anymore.

Anyway kwa ground huyu hata cattledip chairman hawezi pata akiendelea hivi.
 
FYI, it was a burial of one of Mishra's former campaign manager who died in while undergoing treatment in India. Mishra pledged to help him sort various bills even when he was ailing huku Kenya but it was just that. Pledges. Sudi and Mandago organized harambees to clear bills and ferry the body back. So buzeki mentioning Mishra was just to rile up the crowd.
