Buying ex-singapore cars

Grundy

New Lister
I am planning to buy an Ex-Singapore Audi coz I can't find ex japan audis for that particular model around. Does anyone have any experience with this and is it advisable?

According to members in that group ya the arrogant JM Baraza, those vehicles are a hit and miss as inspections aren't that thorough as with those from Japan/Australia. Sina time ya kutafuta those particular posts.

Way back in 2006/7 I imported a Volvo from there. Never had any issues. Actually I was impressed. The car had just over 30k mileage. The only difference is that it got shipped in a container with 4 other cars and I remember it cost a little more than I had anticipated as result.

I heard they tamper with mileage and since the inspection is done locally by KEBS there's really no way to tell what could be wrong with the car

By time of importation the car was slightly less than 4 years old so I found the 33k plausible. It also had leather seats that were not worn or scuffed. Perhaps I was just lucky, anyhow I always seem to be😁
