Brutalism is a style which emerged during the 1950s used mainly in projects of the post-war era in Europe. It is characterised by minimalist constructions that showcase the bare building materials + structural elements over decorative design. The term Nybrutalism (New Brutalism) was coined by the Swedish architect Hans Asplund. Nyayo house is another example of this design
