It's been a rumour so far that things aren't looking rosy between the CJ and JSKS. In fact, calls by the likes of Ahmednasir and Havi for the restructuring of the Judiciary have been interpreted to mean that there's a sinister hand behind them.

So, the news coming out this evening is that her security detail has been scaled down doesn't sit right at all. Yaani tactics za Moi are still in play in 2025, the year of our Lord.

As much as she's been a mediocre CJ, I hope she and her peers will fight back as they're the 2nd last defence against total tyranny.

These machinations they are up to will backfire really badly on them.
 
It is funny to me that the 'protectors of the constitution' once faced by criticism and demands to resign office, choose the nuclear option to ban an entire practice and its lawyers from ever appearing before them.

Thank God the supreme court doesn't have access to security organs. What will they do once lawyers in solidarity protest and demand their resignation?
