17-year old escapes from isolation at Embu level 5 hospital.
A 17-year old who had been put on isolation awaiting tests escaped from an isolation room at Embu level 5 hospital.
Embu health director Rosaline Kaugi said that the health officials were notified of the boy who had travelled from Nairobi to their home in Karurina where they picked him.
"We put him on isolation at Embu level 5 hospital awaiting tests but escaped through the window,"Madam Rosaline said.
She added that the matter had been handed over to police who had launched a man (boy) hunt on the boy.
