Stop conflating issues. The reduced demand is a rational market reaction to price increases. You should know that the Laffer effect lags the trigger by many months if not years, and is not applicable in situations where unemployment is high

Say what Mr Ndii? Doesn't the rational market correction refer to a reduction in actual taxable volumes hence a reduction in total taxes collected?
