BMW Accident alert Southern bypass

Our roads are more dangerous than never before . As drivers we have a role to play but also NTSA and the relevant authorities should crack the whip on unroadworthy vehicle .We have vehicles with
-no brake lights ,
-number plates and reflectors which are not visible ( Tata Tippers and their cousins)

Thika road iko na patrol vehicles from Debroso but they are useless fellows . When you have a problem on the highway they will offer nothing much apart from hang around there with you and infact the park mbele yako incase shit happens. Mind you their vehicles ndio ziko na strobe lights which at least are visible from far unlike a lifesaver. If only KeNHA would have listed a requirement that the contractor to have a tow truck to cater for the large trucks and 2 flat bed trucks to cater for small vehicle which make up the biggest chunk of road users .Wakikupata uko stuck kwa highway they tow you for free to the next exit and leave you kwa a safe area on the service lane.

Thika Rd Patrol park infront of you gari isigongwe, incase of anything yako ndio inachotwa, ikichota yao they talk to your insurance. Do they atleast carry petrol hata ya 500 ikuskume to the petrol station.

There are a couple of things are not right kwa hii picha .
- Reflectors are missing on the truck from the area i expect them to be .
- The truck was not keeping left (but it might not be his fault assuming the driver was overtaking another vehicle though the area iko na three lanes meaning it was either kwa exit ,entry or an area with climbing lane)
- The lights to illuminate the bypass are off hence poor visibility. They is a lamp post with lights off to support this statement.

Those vehicles ata hazinanga brake lights and some are actually unroadworthy...I doubt they even have insurance
