Too many factors to consider here. Trump has always been scared of Biden's candidacy and that's why he went fishing for trash from Ukraine. Biden is middle left enough to attract moderate Republicans. Look at this video, I cant believe that the Republican party has moved so far right that Bush would appear on extreme left the GOP.

Hard to throw Biden under the bus at this stage.
Focus is to pair him with a strong woman VP running mate. Ingawa Biden anataka Michelle Obama, Barry jaKogelo amekataa amesema afadhali Michelle achukwee Supreme Court judge spot.
The Democrats would like to present a President\VP " Winning Team" and not just sleepy Biden.
Then matuzi and propaganda US style will be triggered to discredit the current occupant of the White House.
Cuomo ni next "Team-America" if he is still hot politically +2020 and not just a passing cloud and a vifaranga ya corona crisis.
