They are backing BBI. For the flimsiest of reasons btw.
You see all that hogwash about unifying the country...they actually believe it. But drilling down to the root of their support of BBI, I heard one mention something very disturbing. "Uhuru is too young to retire." Once you hear someone utter that phrase, they may as well have uji in the skull. I believe that stems from the fact that a majority of senior citizens in Central still have PTSD from Moi's rule and the believe Ruto would follow his footsteps.

I find that funny considering Moi's actual blood spawn is being propped up to take over from Uhuru. As they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
