For most boys, the dream of owning a bicycle or motorbike never extinguishes even into adulthood. Consequently, many male adults will secretly admire bicycles and/or motorcycles. However, there is a mindset problem that prevents many from acting on this admiration. Most people worry about how others will perceive them if they are seen riding bicycles or motorcycles. For those who can't resist, they will either go for fancy bicycles or those huge motorcycles the size of a cow. These two choices have cost implications that most would rather avoid. The message today is that you can enjoy a bicycle without donning attire that makes you look like a wrapped gift. Similarly, you can enjoy a motorcycle ride without looking like a character from a transformer movie. Enjoy life in simplicity.

You don't need to look like a weirdo to enjoy a bicycle. In fact, apart from Derefa, I consider any civilian wearing such attire to have mental issues.

This should not be your idea of a motorbike. Actually, apart from Makanika, anyone riding such is trying to compensate for something we cannot print here.

Bicycling should be fun, free of judgement.

People might mistake you for a bodaboda, but that will not prevent you from enjoying your bike.

In many countries motor bikes are the primary means of transport. Only in kenya we associate motorbikes with boda bodas and therefore many kenyans shy away from this very convenient mode of transport.

We can't and should not blame Uhuru for the twisted mindset of Kenyans. Uhuru amefanya KAZI. Amejenga barabara kila pahali. He can't force Kenyans to buy bike and motor cycles to use on roads, can he now?
Ama ni aje @mkurugenzi ?

But can he go to Kangema on a rainy Sunday afternoon?

And if he can, can he also carry a whole bunch of green bananas, and sweet potatoes, and stuff to bring back in the evening?

Can he also carry along his pregnant girlfriend?

And if he can do all that in the rain, can he truly say he enjoyed the convenience of his bike?

How is he a wise guy for riding a pretty decent motorbike without reflective clothing, gloves, helmet and knee-pads?
FYI, the rate of nduthi-related accidents has been on the rise and both them and car drivers are to blame. As @Meria has said hapo juu, being responsible should be everyone's mantra, from pedestrians to turela drivers

In many Asian countries, and correction, the bikes came in to rescue people from dying seating in traffic.
Motor bikes of regulated and planned for on our infrastructure, it would be positive.
Other wise it remains a dangerous endavour on our roads, full of ego and inexperienced drivers.
