Rao and uhuru took a big gamble oblivious of the situations on the ground. The assumption was majority of Mt Kenya would have followed karua. But Kambas followed kalonzo side despite him not being on the ballot.
Also they assumed with karua anti corruption stand and her being a woman people will vote her side. They forget during elections tunaweka akili kwa mfuko.

They had a plan in the cherera 4 until chebukati showed up and everything went up in smoke

Kalonzo has shown no initiative whatsoever in kenya, he was a postershild for kanu who did nothing for his people...uzuri kambas are unlike luo nyanza who will die with raila to the last man, there are other kamba political leaders who have been swaying kamba politics away from kalonzo

There is nowhere on the world where 3>4. In a committee of 7, if a vote is taken and 4 of the members say NO, like the cherera 4 did, and 3 say Yes, the Nos have it coz they are the majority. Anything else is rigging. And FYI the chairman has just one vote like the other members and shouldn't overturn the committee's decision. Why have a committee where the chairman is bribed to overrule the majority vote?

What assumption was that? Karua lost a governor seat...what following did they think she had?
