Arsenal complete deal to sign Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad

€32m plus €5m add-ons with favorable payment terms and contract until June 2028 plus an option until 2029.

Arsenal were closing in on Merino deal since the end of July, Merino only wanted Arsenal… and it’s now done.

What now?
In just the past decade, we've claimed the FA Cup in 2013-14, 2014-15, 2016-17, and 2019-20. Additionally, we've lifted the Community Shield in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2023.

We've also closely lost to Citeh in the past two seaons in the league, and maybe we'd have gone all the way if they weren't such financial dopers. Also, just recently got to the Champions League semis and if a trophy is just a trophy, this was just 12 days ago kikikikiii

However, nothing beats the joy of watching the beautiful and silky football that we play and seeing kids rise through the academy to global superstars. Sometimes the journey is more beautiful than the destination sire.

Fullham pays Arsenal 2 million pounds every season they are not relegated.... So long as Leno plays. Fullham paid 8 million pounds for him.

Let me just say that is all that ends well. I was always for the old man to continue doing his thing but after clearing the debts, he remained stubborn and somehow in denial that football had been ruined to the point of no return by the likes of Chelsea, PSG and Man Shit*y. It was eventually a good divorce that allowed the club to be now able to compete at the very top while he is now a top honcho at FIFA whie still massively respected at the club, the fanbase, former players, and the football fraternity the World over.
