AOB December 6, 2019...

Anyone who witnessed such in the 80's and early 90's has a phobia for dry fry. I remember even viewing of the body of an AIDS victim wasn't allowed.

wanking took to another level, it was not easy for those getting married, fear was real, those positive and will to carry civic education had a tough time !

I

I remember back in 1982 I was sitting in the reception area of Kijabe Mission Hospital, as it was then called when this incredibly emaciated patient with sores was wheeled in on a trolley. That image has stuck with me all this time. I believe that was the first ever HIV/Aids patient I ever saw. Later of course I would come across hundreds..................including very close relatives.............kids nowadays don't know how devastating this scourge was, especially in the Moi years when public hospitals didn't have simple antibiotics.............
Unakumbuka Ile song ilikuwa inaitwa 'Ndikwenda guthikwo na iratathi?'
