On IEDs, now that it appears you have to dig such a big hole, how comes vehicles driving in attack-prone areas end up stepping on such a surface? An example of this road, I thought utajua tu mahali hawa jamaa wamechimba?

Because of hitting rocks- vehicles there drive at minimum of 80 - there's a tendency to drive on the tracks of the previous vehicle. The choice of where to embed the IED therefore becomes easy.
