Incident report of today on 30 /12/2020 at around 0045 hrs indicate that m/v Ambulance carrying patient from kutulo to Elwak was ambushed and attacked by suspected Alshabab between Dabacity and Dimu. unconfirmed report State one person killed the driver of the Ambulance injured the Ambulance totally burnt

SUBJECT:Suspected AlShabaab operatives sighted.
About twelve (12) heavily armed Al Shabaab operatives were sighted on 29th December 2020 at about 1600 hours while fetching water from River Tana within Komora Village in Garsweno Sub Location in Fafi Sub County.
2. The operatives enquired from the herders the whereabout of Chiefs, Teachers and Kenya Police Reservists before warning them not to share the information with their Parents. They later disappeared to the nearest bush within Fafi Sub County in Garissa County.
3. The presence of the operatives are eminent as they intend to carry out terror attack on either Garissa or Tana River Counties by targeting government servants to kidnapped them. CIC members have been briefed to enhance patrols and chiefs to be made aware of the threats to take precautionary measures of themselves.
