NTSA has announced that it will embark on Nationwide alcoblow checks in major cities following increased deaths as a result of drunk driving.
In a statement, between 2nd and 4th October, a total of 60 road users have died on the roads.
The NTSA report also indicates that 2689 persons have died between 1st January and 30th September, 2020 compared to last year when 2655 lives were lost.
Between 2nd and 4th October this year, 4 drivers died alongside 23 pedestrians.
With the continuous rise of Coronavirus numbers, how will the alcoblow work? How will the officer implement it? Only time will tell.
