What in those requirements is so difficult to fulfill? Kama umeregister company to do that business won't you have a certificate of registration, MoU, business permit, etc etc? Ama unataka aje, perhaps you should not be registered at all?

Tusonge mambo mbele ya Airwhatever - hizo nyumba za kukodisha. Is it a business like any other? Why should it not be taxed? What are the acceptable levels of taxation?

Answering these questions is very important. In a country of 47 million why is it KRA collects less than a 100,000 population city in the US? WHY?

And yet you will be here the next day crying for services and half of you don't pay taxes.

Ask anybody who has lived in Europe or Northern America; EVERYBODY PAYS TAXES (well, except a few rich people). You can't escape paying property tax, for example, but here you have landlords with 200 units who pay zilch, but will complain that the road leading to them has not been repaired.

Wacheni ubonobo. Grow some brains. Muwe mnajaribu kufikiria. Otherwise tutaendelea kuwa a continent of primordial apes.

Pay your due taxes AND THEN ASK FOR ACCOUNTABILITY, siyo kulilia hapa kama tutoi tumeona hedhi mara ya kwanza.

WARMA means Water Resources Management Authority. It's name is self-explanatory.

Let me ask you bro.

What would happen if everybody dug a borehole in his eighth acre? Who is supposed to coordinate the usage and exploitation of water across different jurisdictions? Is there a need for a central body for that? How should that body be financed?

You see, I am not saying that our systems are perfect. What I am saying is that some of these criticism is so shabby it doesn't merit even a response. It is brain-dead.

When somebody criticises the taxation of AirBnBs I expect him to tell me exactly what is wrong with the taxation regime, OTHERWISE ALL BUSINESSES MUST PAY TAXES.

There are very many things I disagree with gavament - my pet peeve is the high cost of electricity - and corruption is obviously a problem.

But I ask again, why is it that a country of 47 million can collect only as much as a small city in the US collects? WHY, and you insist ion similar quality of service?

Bearing in mind that US taxes are paid in dollars while Kenyan taxes are paid in shillings, which city do you have in mind and can you actually back this statement up with credible research?
