Stalled trucks

Why would you choose not to alert others of your stalled trucks.

If your vehicle is stalled, please why can't you organise to have it pulled over to a safer place off the road.
Look at what we have woken up to this morning.
How to warn other road users of your stalled vehicle.
1. Have your life saver triangles. Digital blinkers are best.
2. Put the life saver triangles 70m away from your vehicle.
3. If you are using blinkers attach them to the truck as they are seen as far as 300m.
4. Mark trucks with reflective materials they increase visibility and understanding.
5. The operator must have reflective material to be seen from far.
6. Most stalled trucks have the crew sit inside the stalled vehicle. Please stay away and help warn other users. This will decrease the number of rear rams.
Road safety are measures put into place to help reduce possible deaths, injury, damage to the environment and property.
If these measures are put into place we will not see such scenes. It is our responsibility.
Road safety is a message of love and only those who have true love will share it with you

I see Ugandan plates. I can imagine the crew...not even sure if they will be allowed to pass through the border with the current restrictions only to be ferked up 1/3 way into their journey. Sad!

The worst part about a stalled trailer is you thinking that it's moving at a slow speed so in the event you were overtaking, you try to squeeze yourself at top speed. You hit the truck. Brakes can't save you

I also see people stop their cars on the inner most lane of thika road ati they are changing their tyre, and yet just 500metres ahead there is an exit to a petrol station.....
