The way events are unfolding in Kenya is very concerning.
It seems, for all intents and purposes, that Ruto and Kenya Kwisha are no longer in charge and the Country is in a free fall.
The Military also has no leverage on this popular uprising and if the Organisers so wish they could easily bring the Country to a standstill and ungovernable.
This brings us to the most serious question of the moment.
What contingency measures does JSKS have in his sleeves?
When Moi faced a similar challenge to his throne, he became dictatorial and draconian raining terror on his perceived enemies.
Could JSKS borrow a leaf and shut down Social media, curb freedoms of association and expression and reopen Nyati House?
Of course the one arsenal left in his armoury is to call a snap General Election if he believes, despite all evidence to the contrary, that he is popular to stand a chance of winning.
But having made so many enemies in such a short span of time would be prudent or wise to surmount such a challenge?
