His name is Arnold, a loving father of two. After enjoying drinks in a club located on the 6th floor of the building, he decides to exit. Clearly, he is not too intoxicated as he takes the stairs on his way down.
A few steps down he notices the stair rail looks inviting. He decides to take a hop, and the alcohol in his head does not object.
The descent starts out fine but midway, problems arise. Balance and muscle co-ordination seem not to be functioning faithfully.
At this point, gravity interjects, as it is wont to do when there is no opposition.
Six floors later, the outcome is tragic.
Lesson: Learn your weaknesses and take preventive measures. In my young years, I would remove the front wheel assembly of the vehicle before engaging drinks at home. I had learnt that I could not resist the suggestions that come with drink. The time is takes fix the assembly back is long enough for sobriety to resume, plus assembling the parts is hard work when muscle coordination is poor.
