A thought for food!

A jack fruit tree (mfenesi) laden with fruits outside the County Government of Embu offices. It had me thinking...why don't our afforestation policy makers think of getting citizens to plant more fruit trees. The promise of fruit to eat and sell would motivate citizens to plant more. Income from sold fruit would reduce poverty while the fruits would help fight malnutrition. All of this while conserving the environment!
