“I was born in Mogadishu but ... I see myself as a Kenyan. But I have dual citizenship.. ,” said the nominee.

Ms Leila Abdi Ali who was recently announced as having TOPED all the 147 applicants to be selected as a nominee for the presitgious job of a TSC commissioner failed to produce her Kenyan ID or standard 7... KCPE and form 4 KCSE certificates to the parliament vetting committee.

The Daily Nation journalist who covered the process in parliament quoted Ms Ali as having produced a photocopy of Form Four mock exams done in 1996 and a fake looking degree certificate from a back street university in London.

Kenyans could have gone for another twenty years without requiring visas to go to many countries.
