Most of the light falls on other areas of the car, road, up in the sky etc.

Nilipata D in physics so I wouldn't know anything about focal points, concave and convex mirrors.
I spend a lot of time driving at night and I know for a fact that if you tilt your rear view mirror it reflects all the light in the face of the driver behind you.

And then he can't see you and he rear-ends you in pit manouvre and you have two dead people? Not sharp.................

I noticed that people in Kenya have their headlights on full beam so it's normal but elsewhere it's frowned upon so the technique of tilting the rear view mirror is only used to remind the driver behind you to adjust their lights to normal beam in case they're coming from a badly lit area.
Normally people get the message.
