Money and how it works is one of the least covered topics both at the school level and the media. Sometimes this omission might seem suspicious, considering the impact the control on money has on our lives. The video below elucidates, at a basic level, how central banks control interest rates thus the level of economic activity in a country. The other point of note is the high level of controls needed to keep a free market economy going, perhaps more that you would expect in a free market. This video is a must watch for all, with no exception, even for PTSD sufferers.
