Did you know that when Ngeta was first invented, money was never the target as very few people would be caught walking around with money. They were most likely going to plead with the Al-Shabaabs to stop attacks on Wajir. Some of these seemingly complex issues can be resolved over a single meeting with community elders. Al shabaab attacks on Wajir, while meant to hurt the Kenyan government, are hurting Wajir residents most. The area already lags in education. The removal of teachers from the area will simply disadvantage the residents further.

Such trips must be authorised at the highest level, say by the National Security Council. Sasa wakijipeka huko pekee yao watekwe you will expect KDF to start working to rescue them? International issues are not solved that way...................

This is more of an intra-community problem best addressed using community rules. Involving other arms of government who possess little understanding of community dynamics would simply complicate the process.

Laws and process are there for a reason, was it too much to ask for a nod from the NSC before embarking on such an important mission?

some sacrificial blood...such as that of down kenya teachers or quarry workers. when the problem began you heard Dualle say they cpuld go detonate their bombs in Machakos, not Eastleigh where they were harming business by scaring buyers.
they made a lot of noise when teachers were withdrawn but before that they were very quiet.

Any notification to a third-party would have compromised the entire operation. Some of the characters they went to talk to could be wanted persons.

But honestly I don't think they r this daft. There is more to this that we certainly r not in the know of. Being Kenya, iko pesa pahala inapiganiwa
