Detectives from DCI Juja Sub-county recovered his half-naked body floating on water with his personal documents including his phone. According to his two wives, he left behind a suicide note and text messages to his second wife who resided in Kasarani Estate, Nairobi. “I’ve gone to drown in Witeithie dam. I wish you all the best. You’ve always been loyal to me and so loving that I could never ask for any other wife other than you,” he wrote. They had fled to the scene after reading alarming messages that he had left under the door warning that he was tired with life and had opted to end his life. Before his phone switched off, he had instructed that they should search his body inside Witeithie dam which is a kilometer away from Thika super Highway.
