Effects of incompetent Urban planning board. Hii kenya bora uko na pesa anyone can set up a construction site, no laws to regulate the quality of buildings.

Laws are there, but mostly around revenue collection, so basically the chaps will just come to check if your permits are valid.(for single residential construction)
Can't comment about major projects and multi storeyed buildings. Haven't experienced those.
