The suspect, Joshua Wasakha Wangeni, was nabbed on Wednesday after asking a godown operator in Nairobi for Ksh.300,000 to reconnect electricity which he had previously disconnected.
According to EACC, Wangeni later negotiated the ‘facilitation fee’ to Ksh.200,000 but the complainant refused to pay the bribe, instead reporting the matter to the anti-corrupt body.

This lot are the saboteurs of economic productivity.
They jeopardise and even kill businesses, employment and livelihoods all for their own selfish gains.
Little wonder the guy looks hideous.

But atajua hajui.
EACC may want to set a good example with his case and prosecute him to the full extent of the law.
Even if they don’t, he will use so much money to stall his prosecution with his lawyers or by bribing EACC and the Police.

Worse of all, he is now out of a job.
KPLC is one of the most generous employers in Kenya.
He will daily wish if only he could take back before his stupid move.

And the idiot looks like he was almost retiring.
