2 gangsters shot dead

Police in Mumias have shot dead 2 gangsters and recovered over Ksh. 359,000 and an AK-47 rifle in a robbery incident at Kisumu Ndogo area.
The thugs had ambushed a trader on his way home at 5pm after closing their hardware located in Mumias town and robbed him about Ksh. 400,000 and 3 mobile phones before escaping with his car towards Mumias Sugar Nucleus estate.
Upon being pursued, they opened fire culminating to the death of the 2 suspects.
Two of their accomplices however managed to escape, abandoning the vehicle at Kabula area in Bungoma.
