Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has mourned the death of Dr. Doreen Lugaliki who has succumbed to the new coronavirus.
In a post on social media, KMPDU said the Dr.Lugaliki contracted the virus while at work, reiterating on the need for the government to protect frontline workers.

Dr.Lugaliki was served as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at The Nairobi South Hospital and had been admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital ICU unit.

She didn't trust to be admitted at the institution she was employed?
 
And maybe the 8-bed ICU facility at her place of work was full. Still, it's sad and brings the reality home that even young people are not safe. Let us all be responsible
