38-year-old Doreen Lugaliki becomes first Kenyan doctor to succumb to COVID-19

Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU) has mourned the death of Dr. Doreen Lugaliki who has succumbed to the new coronavirus.
In a post on social media, KMPDU said the Dr.Lugaliki contracted the virus while at work, reiterating on the need for the government to protect frontline workers.

Dr.Lugaliki was served as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at The Nairobi South Hospital and had been admitted to the Aga Khan Hospital ICU unit.

The 38-year-old doctor becomes the first Kenyan doctor to succumb to the novel coronavirus.

This is the situation we have been warning people about in this forum. Lakini watu hawasikii. People here are very indisciplined, mtu anaambiwa avae mask atavaa kwa kidevu, you are asked to keep social distance mnaenda kuchana muguka hapo kwa base. Mjinga policeman who has a salary accepts a bribe to let people break curfew rules. Arrghh!

Rwanda has been successful because huko hawaleti mchezo kwa kazi.
