Summary of DP William Samoei Ruto remarks at KTN News Kenya Interview:
1. I will be running like any other Kenyan and want to be judged on my record.
2. Even if William Ruto doesn’t merit the President’s support there are eight million other people in Jubilee who merit that support.
3. Jubilee has been destroyed by people who do not believe that the way to de-ethnicise our country is to have strong political parties.
4. It is unfortunate that the people who were trusted to run Jubilee destroyed the party.
5. In my opinion merging Jubilee with ODM is the most tragic thing that has ever happened.
6. I have had the opportunity to discuss these matters with the President but that cannot be a point for this conversation.
7. Every duty that has been assigned to me by the President I have performed diligently without fail.
8. The legacy that this administration will be remembered with is infrastructure around roads, rail, and electricity and education reforms, all these were in the first term.
9. I have read the BBI cover to cover and there is nothing that will prevent people from contesting election results and swearing themselves in.
10. I have a problem with some provisions of the BBI because it is taking us back to a mixed system of government.
11. The people who are talking about postponement of the elections are talking the language of impunity and it has no space in Kenya, I know for sure that there will be an election next year.
12. I have no problem with an expanded executive, our problem is not tribalism, our problem is leadership
13. We need to do a different economic model, a mix of what we did and what we did not do.

15. There are people who the president assigned the responsibility to implement the Big 4 Agenda; they should answer why some things have not happened.
