Which herb is this?

Like most of you here in the Senate, I have decided to try my hard in a bit of farming. Now, before you ask how that can be, let me remind you, without blowing my own trumpet, that ever since I was a little Girl, I have always had green fingers.
Whenever am home you will most likely find me weeding or busy tending to some crop in the Garden.
Could you imagine that there are over twenty mature trees in our homestead that owe their very existence to myself.

Now I know there are many Agronomists and Agriculturists in this Village. I would want you to identify this particular plant below.
The Christmas just gone I planted 400 of these beauties and can’t wait for their maturity in 3-4 years time.
Might there be a Senator who already cultivates this very plant?
If there is could you kindly tell me the pros and cons of this kind of farming please? What is the single most important issue I should be aware of?

By the way, whoever identifies the plant correctly first will get 2 cold Tuskers from yours truly.

If you take care of your 400 macadamia trees to maturity you will be rewarded with serious money. I hope your seedlings are the Murang'a 20 variety whose production is higher. All the best.
Congratulations @Mwalimu-G. You are right on the money, Sir!
I was advised to combine all the three varieties: Embu, Kiambu and Kirinyaga. Apparently this will enhance cross-pollination amongst them. Do you think that make sense, by the way?

Seems Macadamia trees don’t mind very much a bunch of youthful unfaithful studs of bees “saliminiaring” and high-fiiving each other at their expense! Hio siwes Banae.

Arrangements will be made to deliver your prize.

Set aside a small corner and build homes for the bees nearby. The honey they make will be a bonus. Langstroth hives are about 4K apiece.

@Mwalimu-G,
Do you remember me telling you about my venture into Macadamia farming?
Here are the latest pictures of my plants.
The long drought and unreliable rainfall has not been kind but they are still surviving.
Hopefully in two short years I might start reaping fruits.
