They were put there when the road towards Kabete from Kangemi,(a section of about 3Kms) was being recarpeted. And the jam that was created thereof was so huge,it lasted the better part of Tuesday and Wednesday.
They were removed after the recarpeting was done.

Nimepitia hapo on my way home. Wamefunga hapo mbele ya quickmart all the way to ungem. Minimal traffic though.
But juzi as you mentioned, it was a disaster. In the morning I took 3 hrs to get to town. Jioni nikaona nipitie 118 all the way to kwa magu, nikapata parklands and the environs imefungana Vibaya, I took another 3 hrs.

I am not a Futurama fan .
Safety is a casual item on their list .They should use the plastic ones that are filled with water and label and highlight them for visibility , other than that drivers need be careful driving inconstruction areas .
