Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda to recall more than 100,000 vehicles

Automakers Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda are recalling more than 100,000 cars worldwide because of the danger of fire in the engine compartment.
Among the models affected by the action are Audi Q3, Skoda Octavia and VW Golf. The cars will be released from 2020 to 2022 depending on the model. In Germany the recall will ride about 40 thousand cars. The agency noted that in the engine compartment insufficiently fixed elements, which are purely design-related, can come into contact with hot parts of the engine and ignite. In Germany, there have been 16 cases of fire so far.
