The intended optics of the US trip never went as per plan.

• A purported closed door white house meeting which was called out as being fake!

•A meeting with Kenyans whose video was blocked on YouTube for copyright infringement.

•A meeting with a junior official to rant about the Kenyan government

• A meeting in a nondescript board room with a governor of a state that ranks 35th in the US in terms of GDP.

• Having to mention your full names to a messenger of the junior official

But good thing is that he got an award below.

Just yesterday I met some Ruto guy who told me, mind you without batting an eyelid, that Ruto has been invited to have tea with Queen Elizabeth at the Buckingham Palace
