Perhaps they will change their mind in the course of the time. But I remember very well that Uhuru also withdrew from the same debate over similar issues and reasons in 2017. The 2017 withdrawal has been conveniently forgotten, the Agenda must agend.
Ruto's concerns are real and valid. Raila supporters know that our media and the civil society have always been biased in his favour and to his advantage, but that's the least of their worries, as it is obviously expected.
